FREELANCE JOURNALIST OR LOCAL JOURNALIST? WORK WITH FAMOUS FEATURES

Are you a local or regional journalist or freelance writer who would like to be published in the national press, and make money on the side? FamousFeatures provides real life stories & features to all of the major national newspapers and magazines. We work in partnership with local and regional newspaper journalists who want to make extra money on the side, or get bylines in the national press. We are looking for more people to join our network of contributors. Whenever you break a great story in the local press then we would like to hear from you. We have three different options for taking your scoop forward.

If you want minimal involvement then the first option is…

Option 1 (Tip Off): You alert us to the story and provide names & contact details for the persons involved. We pay you a fee for the tip off (upwards of £50 depending on the quality of the story).

However, if you would like to get more involved and build up your portfolio of published work, you might prefer…

Option 2 (Get Hands On): You can be part of out team in your spare time. Get involved in interviewing and writing up the story in the style of our target publication (we will be on hand to help you). We would then place the story with a national publication. You will be paid for writing the story, and get the byline in the article.

SELLING YOUR OWN STORY

If you have a story that would be suitable for a newspaper or magazine and you would like to sell it to the press, for the maximum fee possible, please contact us today.  You can use our story valuation form to find out how much your story is worth.  There is no obligation and our service is completely free (magazines and newspapers pay us directly to write stories to their particular style).
