More info: We are putting together a news report on the rise of new ‘legal high’ drug mephedrone (known as bubble and meow meow) and am hoping to speak to a couple of female case studies who have tried it to talk about what it was like.  We will need them to be identified (named and pictured) and there would be payment involved.

Case study criteria: They need to be aged between 18-25, be female and willing to be identified

Person or Story Wanted: “Love against the odds – they said it would never work”

More info: We are looking for women (aged 21-29) who are in successful relationships that people said would never work.  Perhaps they have successfully held down a long distance relationship, fell pregnant very early on in the relationship and made the relationship work, fell in love with someone their family initially disliked or met ‘the one’ on the rebound from another relationship.

We would need to photograph both you and your partner at a photo shoot and can pay a fee, plus your travel expenses.

Person or Story Wanted: Someone who became addicted to antidepressants and who suffered extreme side effects.

Where the article will appear: Glossy Women’s Magazine article.

More info: We are looking for a woman who, after being on antidepressants, has suffered extreme side-effects – anything from death to massive strokes or suicide attempts, which can definitely be linked back to the antidepressants.

Person or Story Wanted: Husband/sister/children of woman who died of a gynaelogical cancer.

Where the article will appear: Sunday Newspaper.

More info: We are looking for the families of a woman (aged no more than 45) who died of gynaelogical cancer. We want to speak to her husband/fiance/partner and her sister, and photograph them with her children. This is for a feature on the forgotten victims of cancer-the family.

Criteria: All case studies and the deceased to be no older than 45 approx.

Person or Story Wanted: I am looking for a woman, who decided to abort her child when she found out it would be disabled.

Where the article will appear: Women’s Weekly Magazine.

More info: We are looking for someone who took the decision to abort a baby knowing that it would be disabled and therefore would have a bad quality of life. It would good to find two women, one who stands by her decision and one who regrets it.

Criteria: The women would have to be happy to be identified and pictured. Also, they have to be exclusive to us.

Person or Story Wanted: A woman who has been attacked by another woman/women, eg mugged, targeted on night out.

Where the article will appear: Sunday Newspaper Story.

More info: We are putting together a report on the rise of female violence and looking for a woman aged 20-39 who has suffered violence at the hands of another woman or women.

This could be a random attack on a night out, walking past a group of girls who start being aggressive, or an attack in a bar or club, but something that was totally unexpected (as well as totally undeserved).

We would want to interview her about what happened, and photograph her.

Criteria: Case study must be female, aged 20-39, live in the UK.

More info: We are looking for a dad who is separated from his kid’s mum and only sees them at the weekends and during the holidays ie he is a Weekend Dad.  Most importantly his ex must give permission for the children to be photographed and identified. This is essential.

Special criteria: Male 20-45.

Person or Story Wanted: A family on benefits

Where the story will appear: National Newspaper.

More info: We’re looking for a family who are all on benefits to feature in a piece for The Sun where we give them advice on how to get a job, get fitter and healthier and reduce the amount they claim from the state. Ideally we’d need a mum and dad, and children of working age, along with any other family members who want to take part. We will pay a fee to them.

Person or Story Wanted: A woman who fell in love with her housemate.

Where the story will appear: Glossy woman’s magazine feature.

Story Info: We are looking for a woman who lived with her husband/boyfriend as housemates (maybe at college or university), before they got together.

Case Study Criteria: She must be 21-29.

Person or Story Wanted:  Young(ish) women who’ve lost weight and ditched their men.

Where the story will appear:

Story Info: A line-up piece featuring three women who dumped their blokes after losing weight and gaining confidence. It could be the best thing they ever did – or something they’ve lived to regret.

Case Study Criteria: Ideally in 20/30s but could stretch to early 40s. Must be able to provide before and after pics of weight loss.

Person or Story Wanted: A woman who knew her husband/boyfriend as a friend before they got together.

Where the story will appear: Glossy woman’s magazine feature.

Story Info: We are looking for a woman who knew her husband/boyfriend as a friend before they got together. Ideally, he would have been her best friend’s brother/ brother’s friend or they would have known each other when they were very little.

Case Study Criteria: She must be 21-29 and preferably will be married or engaged.

Person or Story Wanted: My boyfriend\’s a cross-dresser.

Where the story will appear: Glossy Woman’s Magazine.

Story Info: We would like to find a girl in her 20s who discovered her boyfriend was a cross-dresser and she’s still with him.

They will both need to be pictured and we’ll need a chat with both of them.

Case Study Criteria: Aged between 20-29

Person or Story Wanted: Gay parents (preferably dads).

Where the story will appear: Glossy Woman’s Magazine.

Story Info: We are URGENTLY looking for two gay parents (preferably men but will consider female case studies) for a positive feature on modern families in 2010.   They must have had the child together as a couple (ie we do not want case studies who have children from a previous heterosexual marriage).

Both parents must be identified but we can conceal the child’s face through photography if they do not wish for them to be identified.

Person / Story Wanted: We’re looking for a ‘frenemy’ case study – two female friends who have fallen out in the past.

Where the story will appear: Women’s Magazine.

Story Info: Ideally the girls will have fallen out over a boy. They must have since made up so we can photograph them together.  They must be between the ages of 18-35. Nearer 30 would be more preferable.  You will be paid to feature in this article.

Person / Story Wanted: A woman aged 25 – 45 who is or was addicted to prescription drugs/painkillers

Where the story will appear: Sunday Newspaper Magazine.

More info:  It’s a report on easy availability of/addiction to painkillers or prescription drugs. Interested in talking to someone who got heavily involved perhaps with more than one drug, perhaps getting them off the internet.  There have been a number of cases highlighted in the media of people addicted to SSRI’s, so we would be most interested to talk to someone who had a problem with painkillers such as Vicoprofen or Hydrocodone, or was taking a combination of drugs such as anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medications and painkillers. You will be paid to feature in this article.

Person / Story Wanted: I am looking for a mum and daughter who are willing to swap nights out!

More info: I need a mum who goes to bingo who is willing to swap nights out with her daughter. Ideally the mum would be in her late 40s. The mum will go out clubbing with her daughter\’s mates, and the daughter will go out to bingo with her mum\’s mates. It\’s just a fun feature so see how they both get on doing something different.  They will be followed by a photographer and then interviewed afterwards. They will also be paid and expenses covered.

Special criteria? : They must have never done any media before and be up for a laugh! You will be paid to feature in this article.

We are looking for this story / person: I am looking for a great pet story.

Story Details: We are looking for a really good pet story for a short feature. It can’t be about a rabbit or a mini-pig or about fat pets, but anything else to do with animals would be great.

Story Criteria: The feature must be told by a woman aged between 18 and 35.

We are looking for this story / person: A good non-violent crime feature.

Story Details: We are looking for a feature that would work for one of our magazine’s crime sections. We want anything along the lines of a con man / woman, an arson, burglary – anything that doesn’t have any violence in it.
