More Info: We are looking to speak to the oldest siblings of big families (6 plus children) about their experiences of growing up in a large family. Those with particularly strong feelings (i.e. they loved, or hated being the oldest) would be ideal. More Info: We are looking to interview a family containing three generations of young mums. We would like to speak to the grandma, mother and daughter about their experiences of having children young (ideally in their teenage years) and also of being brought up by a young mother. All case studies we use will be paid generously. More info: We are URGENTLY looking for a woman who called off her own wedding. Ideally it was very close to the date of the wedding, all the arrangements were in place eg. dress bought, venue booked, invites sent out, and she decided, for whatever reason, she couldn’t go through with it. We can pay a substantial fee for a suitable case study and will not identify her ex.

More Info: We are looking for any pantomime-themed short features for our Christmas issue. Story / Case Study Info: We are looking for a young woman who risked her health/life taking lots of different types of drugs. Eg she would take cocaine on a night out then need to smoke a joint or take a sleeping pill to come down off her high and get to sleep. Then she would need to take speed or more coke the next morning to get going again, We want to hear what a rollercoaster it was for her, is she regretful/realise how lucky she is not to have seriously harmed herself, or does she see it as part of growing up?

Case Study Criteria: Age 18-35.

 

Story Wanted: Young female who mixed coke with alcohol, had cardiac reaction OR engaged in antisocial behaviour.

Media Outlet: National Sunday Newspaper.

More Info: We are looking for a young woman who mixed cocaine with alcohol and either ended up suffering from a cardiac related side effect OR engaged in anti-social behaviour eg she got into a fight/attacked another person. We can pay a generous fee and she must be willing to be identified.

Story / Case Study Info: We are working on a piece to run next week on ex soldiers who have been injured in the line of duty, and are now retraining in a different career. It’s will be a very straight forward, positive article which will show their determination to carry on. All that would be required is a brief chat on the phone either today (Thurs) or Friday, plus a picture.

Newspaper or Magazine: Sunday Newspaper.

More info: Must be female and under 30.

Story / Case Study Wanted: Women to confess to outrageous office party antics.

Newspaper or Magazine: Glossy Women’s Magazine.

More info: For a fun piece on the outrageous things women get up to at office parties.

Story / Case Study Criteria: Case studies have to be women aged 18-40. Although we can have a couple anonymous, most will have to be identified and pictured. Ideal confessions would include:

  • Slept with boss.
  • Pregnant after sleeping with someone at the office party.
  • Spending night in cells.
  • Snogging someone you wouldn’t have looked at twice sober, but have since married.

Basically anything that could be considered confession worthy. Unfortunately we can’t use women who have been in the media before.

Story / Case Study Wanted: Girls who’ve been left with an unwanted pregnancy / STD after a Christmas fling.

Story Info: I’m looking for any girls who’ve had a festive fling and been left with an unwanted present. They may have had an unwanted pregnancy or developed a nasty STD. The case study just needs to be about casual sex at Christmas time and how it’s affected their lives.

Story / Case Study Criteria: Female, aged 18-35.

Story / Case Study Wanted: A woman whose life has dramatically changed through weight loss.

Story Info: For a piece featuring several inspirational weight loss stories.

Story / Case Study Criteria: Needs to be a woman aged 18-40, whose story is not your average diet story. It has to be emotional, inspirational and include an event that shows how losing weight has turned their life around. Such as:

  • Getting a new job.
  • Being able to conceive.
  • Finding love for the first time.
  • Having the confidence to step out the front door for the first time in months/years.
  • Stopped their children from being bullied.

The case study will need to be identified. We will do a glam photo-shoot too. However, we can\’t use women who have already told their story.

Magazine Story or Case Study Wanted: Women with Facebook/MySpace/Twitter horror stories of being approached by strangers online…

More info: This is for a news report following the tragic death of Ashleigh Hall, who was lured to her death by a man posing as a teenage boy on Facebook. We’re looking for women with similar tales – but a happier ending. The incident could have happened to them, or they could have discovered someone was grooming their child online.

Story / Case Study Criteria: Need to be over 18 and ideally under 45. Must be able to supply a pic and be available to chat quickly on the phone.

Magazine Story or Case Study Wanted: We are looking for a woman and her daughter who share a strong physical feature.

More info: For the feature ‘where I get my good looks from’ we are looking for a young woman and her mum who share a strong physical feature. This could be bright red hair, obvious freckles, a mass of curls, big eyes. What’s important is that the mother and daughter are attractive and the feature that they share is strikingly obvious.

Story / Case Study Criteria: One of the women (ie the daughter or mother) needs to be between 30-55.

Magazine Story or Case Study Wanted: A UK-based bride who got married sometime this year at the age of 21 or younger.

More info: We just need to do a short phone interview with her and the groom and will need to use her wedding pics in the piece.  Ideally, it needs to have a good story attached – e.g. her parents thought she was too young to marry, or she got married because she was pregnant etc.

Story / Case Study Info: Do you know anyone who had chicken pox, measles, mumps, whooping cough as an adult? We are writing a feature about how these illnesses manifest themselves when caught in adult life and would like to do short telephone interviews with those who have suffered from them as adults. All enquiries dealt with in strictest confidence

 

Story or Case Study Request: Fatal Attraction – A man who has been the victim of a “Fatal Attraction” style stalker.

Requested by: Glossy Magazine.

Story / Case Study Info: He must be prepared to be identified and talk about how he met the female stalker, what type of relationship they shared, when and how the stalking began and the aftermath. If he has a wife/partner who went through this with him we’d like to talk to her too.
